ACLE to host 14 business groups from Brazil

The All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) fair will take place from August 29-31 in Shanghai. 14 businesses from Brazil will be displaying their leathers with the support of Brazilian Leather - a project that incentivizes exports developed by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

Letícia Luft, project manager for Brazilian Leather, points out that during the fair the Brazilian stand will be showing the Leather Preview, with its diverse collection of special leathers from different national industries. They will also finish by participating in meetings with the ICT (International Council of Tanners) and the 20th anniversary celebration of the ACLE.
In this edition of the fair, over 23,000 people are expected to visit the 1,038 exhibitors from 39 countries. The ACLE will take place at a time of decreasing business worldwide despite the positive balance of Brazilian exports to China (8% growth in area from January - July). The event traditionally provides participants a series of relevant information on the sector's trends, especially with respect to the Chinese market, which is currently Brazil's largest leather customer, accounting for 31.8% of all exports by value.
