Trade war leading Chinese leather footwear producers to downsize

Impacted by rising domestic costs and tensions over the U.S.-China trade war, small to medium-sized (SMEs) leather footwear producers in China are reported to relocate abroad or to downsize their workforce, with many export-oriented factories allegedly experiencing a -50% decline in international orders.
