Roberto Cavalli could have new owner

Ten different companies are reported to be interested in buying luxury Italian fashion label, Roberto Cavalli.

So far, several media reports have pointed to international fashion group OTB as a possible acquirer. Headed by Diesel founder, Renzo Rosso, OTB’s brands include Maison Margiela, Marni, Paula Cademartori and Viktor&Rolf. Roberto Cavalli is currently controlled by private equity firm Clessidra and, allegedly, is being advised by Rothschild in its search for a buyer.
