Lancel acquisition boosts Piquadro’s results

The Italian premium leather goods manufacturer ended the first nine months of its fiscal 2018-19 with revenues of €107.3 million, up 50.5% compared with the same period of the previous financial year (€71.3 million). 

Piquadro’s increase in revenue for the nine months ended December 31, 2018, is said to have been driven by the consolidation of the Lancel acquisition since June 2018, as well as by a +2.5% increase in sales for the Piquadro brand and +13.8% for The Bridge brand. Revenues for the Piquadro brand totalled €54.6 million (+2.5%), while The Bridge brand reported revenues of €20.5 million (+13.8%) and Maison Lancel totalled €32.2 million in the June – December period, representing a contribution to growth of around 45.1%.
