SLTC elects new Vice-President

Steve Trantum of leather chemical makers, Trumpler has been elected as the new Vice President of the UK branch of the Society of Leather Technologists and Chemists (SLTC) at its AGM on April 26. Amanda Michel of Leatherwise remains President entering the second year of the two-year term. 

Trantum replaces Dave Sherwood of UK suede tanners, Charles F Stead who has been a past President of SLTC and has served on the council since 2008. During the SLTC conference dinner in Northampton on April 26 Sherwood was presented with a gift of thanks for his services to the SLTC over the past six years.

Steve Trantum is a Regional Marketing Manager for Trumpler and is also a fellow of the society.
