Colombian association calls to revoke hide export restrictions

Over the past 15 months the prices of green and salted hides in Colombia are reported to have declined by as much as 35% in value, leading a Colombian association to ask the Government to revoke a decree that restricts the export of semi-processed leather and aims to overcome an alleged shortage of raw materials.
