The global rise in the premium SUV segment will provide key opportunities for the automotive leather supply chain, while mega-trends such as mobility and the rise in green tech constitute threats as the focus is shifting from car interiors to connectivity. These are some of the key findings by Giacomo Rossi, Senior Consultant, Mobility Europe, at automotive consultants Frost & Sullivan, who presented at the 4th ILM Automotive Leather Supply Chain Conference in Europe, which was held on May 21 in Munich, Germany.
