One 4 Leather, the stakeholder group made up of some leading automotive leather makers as well as leather chemical makers Stahl and TFL has launched a new website to inform the automotive supply chain and consumers about the benefits of leather interiors and the responsible manufacturing practices used in the automotive leather segment. 

One 4 Leather is an expert group, active in the leather supply chain for the automotive industry, who have set themselves the task to dispel any myths, rumours or incorrect information regarding the resourcing, production, and usage of leather in automotive interiors. Its mission is to help people understand the value of leather and rekindle their appreciation for it as a superior interior material for their car. By providing honest and factual information, One 4 Leather aims to offer the general public and industry the true facts about leather and uses the slogan “For the love of leather”.

Leather processing stakeholders include Bader, Dani, Wollsdorf Leather, Bridge of Weir, Heller Leder, GST Seton AutoLeather, Gruppo Rino Mastrotto, Pasubio, Boxmark, Howe and Schafstall Holding. The new website includes information on animal welfare, sustainability, leather as a by-product of the food industry and some of its benefits compared with other materials.
