Tanners begin to pay raw hide traders in Bangladesh

After reports that some seasonal small raw hide traders in Tangail, the largest district in Dhaka, are facing huge losses as thousands of pieces of raw hides have remained unsold, local tanners have allegedly begun paying their dues as agreed during a meeting mediated by Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) in August.
