Located in London, the new service offered by Harvey Nichols repairs, restores or even reimagines a customer’s favourite item.
‘The Restory’ is an on-demand service created by luxury department store Harvey Nichols to offer modern after-care for luxury fashion, starting with shoes, bags and leather goods. Customers can drop in-store and a stylist in any department will securely receive the item and send it directly to the atelier to be restored and revived. General services include cleaning for leather and suede, where excessive dirt stains and mould removal are available for inside and out, including reconditioning and polishing; colour restoration; and leather restoration for re-covering damaged piping or restoring scuffs, scratches, punctures and tears on shoes and bags.
Customers can also purchase a ‘revival package’ alongside a new pair of shoes or a new handbag. It includes a basket of competitively priced services aimed at addressing standard everyday-wear within the first 18 months of ownership.
