Continuing its successful webinar series, ILM is hosting a new, free-to-attend edition, exploring what is arguably one of the hottest and most relevant current topics, “The Circular Economy in the Leather Industry”.

Broadcast in association with theSauerReport.com and sponsored by chemical specialist Stahl, three industry-leading presenters will share their expertise and insights on the subject, exploring the innovations and future developments that are transforming the leather industry, as well as highlighting examples of excellence and the leading players in this field.

The webinar, moderated by ILM Editor Isabella Griffiths, will be broadcast on November 6, 2019 at 2pm UK time (3pm CET). It is free-to-attend, subject to approved registration.

Webinar speaker programme:

First presentation: Michael Costello, Director of Sustainability, Stahl: “The circular economy – How leather is rising to the challenge”

Second presentation: Fabiana Orlandi, Environmental and Sustainability Specialist at UNIC: “Tanning and Leather in Italy – An example of excellence in circular economy”

Third presentation: Karl Flowers, Technical Director, Authenticae: “Leather and the circular bio-economy”.

The presentations will be followed by a short moderated question and answer session with each of the presenters.
