The Curriers Company Charitable Fund (CCCF) is funding a scholarship which will support third-year students of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion, Textiles for Fashion, Footwear and Accessories.

The Curriers scholarship aims to support third year Footwear, Fashion and Textiles for Fashion students who are using leather as a raw material in their final major projects. Seven candidates were considered by the selection panel this year, and the 2020 scholarship worth £2,500 (US$3,195) was awarded to George Paul from Northampton, “who has produced some excellent design and work on sneakers, inspired by his love of skateboarding.”

The second prize worth £1,000 (US$1,277) was attributed to Maisie Thompson from Manchester for her original designs for footwear and clothing. Thompson has her own brand; "The Pig That Flew".
