ILM podcast on “Leather making, supply chains and true craftsmanship”

The latest episode of the ILM podcast series “Leather making, supply chains and true craftsmanship” is now available free of charge to download and listen to here, as well as via Apple Podcast and Spotify.

“Leather making, supply chains and true craftsmanship” is a 20-minute episode featuring three articles by ILM columnist Michael Redwood, which have been published in the Comments section of the ILM website. In “Things tanners need to do to make great leather”, Dr Redwood enumerates ten key steps, including appreciating leather with its defects, environmental responsibility and adequate market pricing. The second article in the podcast looks at “Changing supply chains in the leather industry”, while “Leathermaking with pride” discusses how modern geopolitics has become a major influence on the leather industry.
