The luxury sportscar manufacturer said it achieved the best results in the company’s history, with sales up 43% in 2019.
Lamborghini’s turnover grew 28% to €1.81 billion in 2019 from €1,42 billion in 2018. Worldwide sales increased 43% to 8,205 units in the year, with strong sales performance recorded for both super sports car model lines; V10 and V12. According to Lamborghini, super SUV continued their high sales momentum with almost 5,000 Urus delivered to customers worldwide. All geographical regions are said to have posted record sales performance.
The Italian super sports car producer said it outperformed all previous key business benchmarks, with sales, turnover and profitability achieving unprecedent levels in the company’s 56-year history. However, Lamborghini highlighted that the celebration of this success is overshadowed by the significant uncertainties regarding the spread of COVID-19.
To date, Lamborghini has 165 dealers serving 51 countries. In 2020, deliveries are scheduled for the new V10 Huracán EVO derivatives as well as the Lamborghini Siá; a limited edition hybrid super sports car, alongside other planned unveilings.
