APLF postponed again

Hong Kong

Already postponed from March 31 - April 2 to June 1-3, the organisers of Asian Pacific Leather Fair (APLF) said the fair will be postponed once again as the COVID-19 outbreak has become a global pandemic.

On March 18, the government in Hong Kong enforced a 14-day compulsory quarantine order on all travellers arriving from places outside China until mid-June, meaning it is almost impossible for both international exhibitors and buyers to participate in APLF. No new dates have been announced yet and the organisers said they are “working diligently with Hong Kong venues and stakeholders” to consider the best available options. “The entire APLF team joins you in this extraordinary situation we are experiencing together, and our thoughts are with all of you affected by this pandemic. We wish to thank each and every exhibitor and buyer who has supported us and our fairs. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding in these coming months. Together, we will surely make our way through these challenging times for our industry”, said APLF in a statement.
