The Board of the Salone del Mobile Milano has cancelled the 2020 edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Initially planned to be held in April this year, the organisers announced in February that the event had been postponed to June 16-21. The Salon del Mobile is now cancelled and its next edition will take place April 13-18, 2021 due to “unprecedented circumstances and medium-term uncertainties”, said the organisers.

Celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2021, the next edition will be held, for the first time ever, concurrently with all the biennial exhibitions taking place in Milan; the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Workplace3.0, S.Project and SaloneSatellite. This means that EuroCucina, FTK – Technology For the Kitchen and the International Bathroom Exhibition will also take place next year, along with Euroluce, which was already scheduled for 2021.
