German retailers record sharpest sales decline since 1994

As shops had to remain closed due to the corona pandemic, retail sales revenue fell significantly in individual retail trade branches across Germany in March 2020, including for leather goods. Domestic manufacturing and production also recorded the sharpest decline since the early 1990s.
