U.S. hides certificate of origin not a requirement for USMCA

Effective July 1, U.S. hide exporters to Mexico or Canada will no longer need to present a formal certificate of origin as a requirement under the U.S. – Mexico - Canada Agreement (USMCA). Car manufacturers may also have to increase their USMCA bloc sourcing to ensure that 75% of a vehicle's parts are made in a signatory country.
