Chinese smartphone maker to launch new series with leather

The new smartphones are reported to have a premium texture and feel, which have been described as “low-key luxury with substance”. 

Xu Qi, Vice President, Realme, has unveiled the new Realme Q2 smartphone series, which features leather for the first time. The Chinese manufacturer unveiled the new models through a teaser on social networking site Weibo. Qi said the company will apply high-end plain leather craftsmanship to the upcoming series, and the phones will have the company’s “Dare to Leap” logo visibly printed. The Realme Q2 series could be launched in China on October 13. 

Established in May 2018, Realme has entered nearly 30 markets worldwide, including China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Europe, Russia, Australia and Egypt.
