European cattle slaughter set to decline further in 2021

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released data on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on global slaughter rates, which suggests that European Union slaughter declined by 1.67% in 2020, with an anticipated further fall of 0.46% expected in 2021.
