The French luxury conglomerate, which owns Berluti, Louis Vuitton and Dior, is selling deadstock fabrics and leather in an online marketplace. This focus on upcycling will reportedly result in a more circular, sustainable fashion industry.

The option of deadstock sale is bolstered by factors such as France considering the banning of brands from burning or dumping unsold clothing. Unused fabric costs the industry US$120 billion per year, according to online deadstock marketplace Queen of Raw.
