30,000 tannery jobs at risk if Argentine hide exports continue

The Argentine tanning sector has expressed concern about the lack of bovine hides on the domestic market and the consistent price increases for tanneries. The union sector has issued a document requesting that government stop exports of raw materials, or risk endangering 30,000 jobs in the leather sector.
