ACLE reflects Chinese tanning in transition

Despite the earlier reports that the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) was not as strong as expected this year it was still a significant and well attended event. The 2014 edition of ACLE may simply be reflecting the transitional nature of the tanning industry in China and a number of industry and geopolitical factors beyond the industry's control.
