Indian leather hub traders share concerns over state of the sector

Business owners in Kanpur have shared their concerns over the current status quo of the local leather sector, which has been significantly affected by the latest outbreak of the pandemic. Kanpur is the largest city of the state of Uttar Pradesh in India and one of the biggest hubs of the leather trade in the country, both across retail and exports, contributing approximately 30% to the leather trade in India.
