Improving traceability across the leather and hide industry

The Australian Hide Skin & Leather Exporters’ Association has been awarded a AUD$326,000 (US$253,436.70) grant to install and operate Australia’s first hide and leather tracing system as part of the Australian Government’s Modernising Agricultural Trade agenda to support the target of an agricultural sector worth AUS$100 billion (US$77.74 billion) by 2030.
