AEC urges Spanish government caution over trade tariffs

The U.S has recently announced that it would apply a tariff increase of 25% on goods from Italy, Spain, Austria, the UK, Turkey and India. On May 2, the country postponed the decision of the possible increase in tariffs on footwear and other products from European countries. The Footwear Components from Spain Association (AEC) has urged its government to “apply a principle of prudence and not rush into negotiations”.
