Fast-growing indie B2B publisher Edify Digital Media Ltd, owner of ILM, is looking for a sales professional with a minimum of 12 months’ experience to manage international accounts on its established brand, ILM.

Founded in 2013, ILM covers the global leather supply chain and is read by luxury, sports/apparel, fashion, furniture and automotive brands, leather manufacturers, raw materials suppliers and more. Multi-platform in approach, products and services include a bi-monthly printed magazine, a Mandarin edition, app, website, e-newsletters, live events, webinars and podcasts.

ILM is a genuine market leader with a highly respected editorial team that are premium content driven. With a strong reputation and sales proposition as well as established industry contacts, the Senior Salesperson will be able to build upon existing relationships and build new ones in order to help maintain and maximise sales and revenue of the brand.

The role offers career progression opportunities subject to the candidate being able to demonstrate their ability and consistently delivering on performance.

The ideal candidate

  • You will have a minimum of 12 months’ sales experience (ideally in media or in a leather industry related business) with a proven track record preferably with skills in cross-selling print, online/digital and events
  • You are capable of maintaining and growing existing display and sponsorship revenues through good customer relationship management in an international environment
  • You are a good negotiator and excel in winning new business in digital/online, print and event sponsorships (pitching for business by phone, video calls, email and face-to-face)
  • You are pro-active and forward-thinking in order to consistently meet sales targets and KPIs
  • You’re organised and have an eye for detail, taking care to maintain up-to-date and accurate notes as well as contact data on the company CRM system
  • You are capable of meeting deadlines and can manage multiple projects
  • You have some flexibility with working hours (to fit in with international time zones) and enjoy international travel
  • You are a self-motivated individual, happy to work alone and as part of a small team
  • You can be based anywhere as we support remote working
  • You are a strong team player.

This is a Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm position.
