The show was inaugurated by Pakistan Trade Development Authority Chairman Zubair Motiwaala at an opening event, where he called the event an “ideal opportunity for sector stakeholders with the finest exposition of finished leather and quality leather produced in the country”.
He added that he expected the 2023 edition of the show to attract buyers from China, Italy, Germany, Hong Kong, Cyprus, the U.S., UAE, Spain and Tunisia.
PMLS 2023 features more than 100 exhibitors from Pakistan and abroad, including Chinese companies who have shown interest in the Pakistan leather industry.
