The first edition of the Forum held in September 2019 attracted nearly 300 leather sector stakeholders, who discussed topics presented by around 30 French and international speakers representing a diverse panel of companies from SMEs to large groups, as well as international institutions such as the European Commission, the United Nations and the OECD. During the event, companies from the luxury sector, including Louis Vuitton, Kering and Hermès, were given a unique opportunity to present their progress in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
For this second edition, topics to be discussed will include consumer protection, animal welfare and the circular economy. Round tables and talks are to be organised around the quality of finished goods, innovation and the best practices of the sector in France and internationally.
