This represented a 7.42% increase over the company’s result of RM42.50 million (US$9.72 million) in the same period of the previous year.
Net profit for Pecca saw growth of 0.51% in the third quarter to RM8.09 million (US$1.85 million). The company reports that revenue was driven by leather upholstery, leather cut pieces supply, and the healthcare division, which contributed approximately 83%, 7% and 5% of the total revenue, respectively.
In a statement, Pecca said that its performance in the third quarter was mainly down to higher revenue from the automotive industry as well as a reopening of the economy as Malaysia transitions into the endemic phase of Covid-19.
