The leather goods and footwear manufacturer signed the MoU as part of the “Beyond Compliance Initiative” of Leathergoods and Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB).

Household necessities, both packaged and non-packaged, will be solid at the shop with up to a 10% discount including credit facilities to aid in increasing workers’ disposable income.

Md Saiful Islam, Managing Director of Picard Bangladesh and President of LFMEAB, said that every aspect of workers’ rights – including decent work, women’s reproductive health, and fair price shopping – must be upheld.
