The Swedish electric vehicle (EV) maker aims to reach around 250 locations by the end of 2026, representing 20% growth versus end-2025 levels.

CEO Michael Lohscheller attributed the performance to strong demand across key markets including Australia, Germany, Sweden, South Korea and the UK, despite increasingly challenging geopolitical conditions.

In the UK, Managing Director Matt Galvin reported a record quarter, with sales rising 12% year-on-year. Pre-owned sales surged 99%, while growing consumer interest, driven by what he described as “pump anxiety” replacing “charging anxiety”, helped boost adoption.

Polestar said further retail expansion and new model launches, including the Polestar 3 SUV and Polestar 5 Grand Tourer, are expected to support continued growth through 2026.
