Under the theme “Leather in Everyday Life”, other companies participating in the panel include Coach, Tory Burch, Wolverine Worldwide, and GST Autoleather. Moderated by Michelle Rotbart, a creative strategist focussed on trend forecasting and design thinking, the session will highlight how leather products are successfully present in men and women’s activities all day long.

After studying at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, Rotbart completed her Masters degree in Strategic Design and Management at the Parsons School of Design Strategies. Presently, she works for Fashion Snoops, a global trend forecasting agency with over 150 experts and researchers worldwide, and heads up the culture team, helping clients to find their footing within the future by translating consumer insights into creative expressions and concepts for global business strategies. Previously, she worked for Doneger Creative Services, LPK and Proctor & Gamble.

Hedquartered in Tolentino, Italy, Poltrona Frau was founded in Turin in 1912. It has since furnished grand hotels, yatchs, cars and corporate offices. The Company uses around 340,000 sq m of European full-grain leather a year to manufacture its pieces.
