In a statement on December 18, he lauded the services of the Sindh Rangers and police for their strict vigilance at the Tannery Zone in the Korangi Industrial Area due to which the crime rate had come down considerably. Fawad highly appreciated the co-operation extended by Colonel Jawed Baloch of Bhittai Rangers and SP Usman Ejaz Bajwa for improvement in Tannery Zone’s security. He said that the crime rate in the area had come down by 50% due to the efforts of the two officials in a short time.
He mentioned that both the officials had been co-operating with the association to strengthen security in and around the Tannery Zone and the industrialists engaged in exports of leather and leather goods could now work in a more peaceful environment.
