The 28th edition will host 20 new companies, specially chosen by the Selection Committee: 11 tanneries, 8 manufacturers of technical components for footwear and 1 company specialising in textiles for accessories. This occasion will see some tanneries exhibit for the first time, namely Pittards (United Kingdom), Tärnsjö (Sweden), Curtidos Bassols (Spain), Fuga Couros (Brazil) and Aldo e Ivo Portolano Guanti (Italy).

For many years, the tanneries of the leading French luxury labels have been present at the show, displaying their peerless expertise.

This edition, for the first time, the Kering Group (Gucci), which has exhibited for many years along with the Caravel and France Croco tanneries, is presenting its new Serbian tannery, Luxury Tanning From now on, all the group’s leather products will be exhibited on a single stand.

Tanneries clearly have confidence in the show, with more than 350 exhibitors registered to date – occupying an equivalent surface area to that of February 2014 – to present their Summer 2016 collections of leather, fur, soles and textiles for accessories. Of this number, 84% are international companies. Italy, represents 60.5% of exhibitors, 16% are from France, 6.5% from Turkey, 6.5% from Spain.

Visitors are not forgotten as key buyers will be offered a similar service during the Leather Fashion Breakfasts held on each of the three mornings of the show, where they will also be presented with a selection of the best materials on offer. Once again, Première Vision Leather is making its mark as the trend setter in the areas of leather and fur.
