To support continued development in our Technical Industry business, we wish to recruit an experienced International Account Manager for our international channel partners located in EMA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region. You will be responsible for identifying and managing new business opportunities and creating the action plan to turn such opportunities into realized sales, including preparing and maintaining high-quality account plans for allocated customers; supporting the Industry Group Management by providing input, following up on assigned actions, coordinating between customers and the company; providing input and actively supporting the Global Industry Group Network (IGN).

Sales international account manager

As a Sales International Account Manager you will be the primary relationship manager for channel partners and should provide both pre and after-sales advice. An important part of this role is to build and maintain strategic relationships with strategic partners in cooperation with members of the leadership teams in our technical industries.

You will combine your talents for getting results and finding commercial opportunities with your grounding in the technical aspects of the Leather industry. As a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working in IT systems, you know the value of networking and enjoy working with others to drive growth and performance.

You will report to the Industry Sales Manager Global Leather and be part of an international network of highly skilled colleagues to support our growth and innovation-oriented strategy for Leather enzymes.

In this position you need to:

  • Hold a University degree (technical or sales) or equivalent 3rd level qualification
  • Have minimum 3-5 years of commercial experience in Leather industry or in channel partner management in a B2B business environment. An advantage if you have technical knowledge of the Leather industry
  • Possess strong business acumen – in particular understanding of negotiation principles, relationship building, account planning, solution selling, value pricing and supply chain principles
  • Be familiar with the basic legal principles and terms as well as the basic financial analysis principles
  • Have the ability to identify customer needs and translate needs into mutually beneficial solutions as well as being responsible, goal-oriented, well organized and self-motivated
  • Have good communication and presentation skills and demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office standard software)
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time in designated region is a prerequisite as well as fluency in written/spoken English language. Knowledge of German language is a benefit.
