Requirements
Your know-how, ability to deliver process reliability in complex production steps and high level of understanding of quality will be the keys to lasting success in this highly demanding executive function, especially during our company’s current expansion phase. To achieve your goals you manage the main business areas: production, purchasing, quality as well as environment, acting as the interface in close coordination with all relevant departments. Thus, you are responsible for the entire value chain up to outbound logistics. Consolidating the relationship with suppliers is an essential part of the managerial task, as you ensure high product quality.
This position is for a technically experienced manager with a completed apprenticeship as a leather technician (preferably at Reutlingen), and several years’ working experience as a site or plant manager. A background in production management is also conceivable. Furthermore, your profile comprises excellent spoken and written German and English skills. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills who can demonstrate assertiveness and consistency. Additionally, you will have good organisational skills, a dynamic approach and a creative drive. Furthermore, building strong internal as well as external relations should be another important concern.
