The conference will be divided into two panels; ‘How to Transform the Role of the Tanner?’ and ‘Why Aren’t Designers Using Leather?’. Discussions will include how the traditional role of the tanner will have to change with regards to innovation and development and why designers are not taking advantage of the low hide prices.
