The agenda for this year’s meeting includes presentations on global leather demand, trends and forecasts, the state of the U.S. cattle herd and rebuilding efforts, hides and skins traceability technology, and the current state of credit markets in China. In addition, USHSLA representatives will provide the latest information regarding global regulation and trade of hides, skins and wet-blue products. Speakers are to be announced soon.

The USHSLA Annual Meeting and Convention is an intimate gathering of some of the most knowledgeable and influential players in the global hides, skins and leather industry. Topics cover the pressing issues of the day which will have a direct impact on the bottom line of all companies in the global leather supply chain, including hide suppliers, tanneries, brands, and anyone that may be affected by the movement of hides and leather globally.

The association will also host the Regular Members Only meeting on the afternoon of Thursday, September 29.
