The partnership has already resulted in its first lecture, covering an introduction to the world of leather, introducing students to the material.
The agreement will cover similar lectures for students of the Fashion Design, Shoes and Accessories Design, Product Design, Interior Design and Transportation Design courses of the IED offices in Milan, Rome, Turin, Florence and Cagliari.
Rino Mastrotto will also supply leather and fabrics for IED laboratories across these courses for the 2023-24 and 2024-25 academic years.
The company said: “This partnership with IED is not limited to the supply of various materials for creative experimentation; it also encompasses an important sharing of knowledge and skills, which are essential to train the professionals of tomorrow.
“Training is a fundamental pillar for us at Rino Mastrotto, and we are excited to launch this initiative, which we are certain will lead to extraordinary results in the future.”
