The group achieved sales of €32.6 billion, an increase of 17.5% over 2021 and up 18% in constant currencies. Online sales were up by 4% year-on-year to €7.8 billion.
EBITDA for the year was €8.6 billion, an increase of 20%, and net income for 2022 totalled €4.1 billion, up by 27% over 2021.
Store and online sales in Europe, excluding the group’s home market of Spain, were up by 47.5% while Spain alone was up by 14.4%. Sales in the Americas were up by 20% while Inditex managed growth of 18.12% in Asia and the rest of the world.
Inditex opened stores in 33 markets during 2022, including 201 openings, 186 refurbishments, 94 enlargements and 349 absorptions. At the end of 2022, the group operated 5,815 stores.
