Salvatore Ferragamo’s gross operating profit was up +2.1% in the first half of the year compared with the corresponding period in 2018. Net profit increased +2.4% and the Group posted a positive net financial position (adjusted) of €141 million. Sales in the Asia Pacific region increased 8.1% in the period, year-on-year. The EMEA posted an increase in revenues of 3%. Revenues in Central and South America were up 13.4%, while in North America, revenues declined 0.4% in the first half. Among the product categories, at constant exchange rates, footwear posted a 4% increase and handbags and leather accessories +6.8%, year-on-year.
