Self-healing leather finishes

A major area of focus in automotive interior trim and seating is the use of surface coatings that can heal themselves. Self-healing finishes can be designed into leather coatings so that scratches and micro-cracks automatically close or visually disappear during use or with mild stimulation, extending product life.
