Fimec will take place in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, and is one of the largest leather and footwear trade shows in Latin America, featuring chemicals, components, accessories, machinery and equipment for footwear and tanneries.
The 40th edition of the show will take place from 10am to 7pm at the Fenac exhibition grounds and will showcase new products, production processes and innovative developments for the sector, attracting 35,000 technicians from 35 different countries, claim the show organisers.
“Innovation is one of Fimec’s main attributes for visitors and exhibitors alike because we know that it promotes change and fosters productivity, which is vital to ensure Brazil’s growing competitiveness”, explains Elivir Desiam, CEO, Fenac.
Around 900 brands will be displaying their products and services through 575 exhibitors covering a 36,000 m2 area. The machinery section accounts for 30% of the total floor space.
