Silent killer in the tanyard
Article first published in ILM May-June 2017 edition. On April 24 ILM reported a news story on its website from the Kanpur tanning district in India concerning the death of two tannery workers Raju (20) and Bablu (21). The young men with their whole lives ahead of them died after inhaling poisonous gas at a tannery in the infamous Jajmau tanning district.
