Alongside the physical format of the show, the organisers of Simac Tanning Tech said they are working on a “renewed exhibition experience that fully exploits the potential of digital tools”, including a business matching tool, a communication and sales sharing platform and an online app for a significant interaction between exhibitors and visitors. “We strongly believe in the pro-active role that an international trade fair such as Simac Tanning Tech can play. Despite the serious impact of the pandemic, we have not been discouraged. It has, instead, created the opportunity for us to work on the relaunch of the event through a smart and digitalised platform”, said Gabriella Marchioni Bocca, President, Italian Association of Footwear, Leather goods and Tannery Machinery Manufacturers (Assomac).
