The fair will cover more than 15,200 sq m (25% more floor space than the last edition in 2013), and will present 277 exhibitors from representing: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Greece, The Netherlands, Japan, India, Iran, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and UK.

“We are very excited about this new edition of Simac Tanning-Tech”, explains Giovanni Bagini, President of Assomac. “After a 27-year absence Simac Tanning-Tech is back in Milan, a symbol of an ongoing process of renewal to further boost this event and its international profile. These are extremely challenging times, but we count on delivering a very complete event which is truly international, a fair which meets the needs of exhibitors and visitors alike and provides them with productive business opportunities in the best possible environment”.

International delegations

Simac Tanning-Tech will also feature a global piazza, which will be a meeting place for companies and agents to meet within the fair. There are 29 delegations visiting the show as official delegations including 150 foreign delegates from Eastern Europe (Poland, Romania and Russia), Asia (Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan, Vietnam), Africa (Algeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Namibia, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia, Uganda), Central and South America (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay).

Visitors will be able to access free Wi-Fi in all the pavilions as well as the brand new “My Fair” service available on the exhibition website. The service allows them to customise their visit to the fair, choosing the firms and stands they want to visit in advance and enabling them to optimise their path through the pavilions.

“In moving the fair venue from Bologna to Milan we have concentrated on delivering an improved event, confirming this exhibition’s leading role in the sector on an international level”, says Amilcare Baccini, CEO of Simac Tanning-Tech organisers, Assomac.
