She has been succeeded by Monika Kapuscik as of November 1, a recent graduate from the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT) in Northampton.
In a statement, the SLTC said: “Today we say farewell to Pat Potter who has served our Society with dedication and passion for 20 years as the Membership Secretary. Pat will be sorely missed by us all as she has been responsible for the smooth running of SLTC and the annual conference and dinner dance for the last two decades.
“I am sure you will all join us in wishing Pat a wonderful retirement – even though she has still promised to support us during this transitional period.”
