About the presenters
Marcus Breulmann is Global Technical Segment Manager, Wet-End Chemicals at Stahl. In 2009, he joined the company as a Development Engineer and, since then, he has held many roles within Stahl before being appointed to his current role in 2021. As an expert in the leather industry with over 35 years of experience, he is a well-respected figure.
Breulmann holds a Leather Technology Technician certification from Lederinstitut Gerberschule Reutlingen, as well as an additional master craftsman’s diploma from the Handwerkskammer Reutlingen Germany.
Roberta Gamarino is Research & Development Manager at Stahl Italy and one of the founders of Stahl EasyWhite Tan. She has worked in the chemical industry for 20+ years and credits her journey to success in the chemical industry to her early start, winning an award from Torino University in 1993 for the best academic thesis titled “N-Oxide derivatives of pharmaceutical interest.”
She holds two Master’s degrees in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology, and in Pharmacy from the University of Torino in Italy. Her 13 patents are proof that she’s always looking for new technologies to improve society.
Luis Angel Reyes Becerra is Leather Technician Wet-End at Stahl. Reyes Becerra is always looking for ways to improve both personally and professionally and is constantly setting himself new goals. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Leather Technology from the Escola Senai Estancia Velha in Brazil.
He completed several internships before beginning his formal career at Stahl in 2013 and spent just under two years working at the Stahl Netherlands site before relocating to Stahl Germany, where he has spent the last eight years.
During his time at Stahl Netherlands, Reyes Becerra worked on many different projects such as collections automotive, customer support, workshops, application trials and many more. When working at Stahl Germany, he was focused on R&D application, testing new chemicals and applications for the automotive industry.
