The event, sponsored by global leader in specialty coatings and treatments for flexible substrates Stahl and organised by the Leather Working Group, will take place on May 24 at 1pm BST (2pm CET).

Yan will discuss how the LCA method has been implemented at chemical companies, how chemical LCA data can be generated and how companies can minimise environmental footprint based on LCA data.

In her work at Stahl, she focuses on improving the environmental footprint along the business’ whole supply chain, upstream and downstream, including establishing LCA models and data collection methodology in order to meet the 2030 Roadmap targets set by the company and communicating with the external market about how environmental impact can be measured and improved.

She is also responsible for managing market-driven chemical compliance initiatives in the company, such as ZDHC, ensuring that relevant certifications are achieved and communicated.

The webinar will last for around 90 minutes including a live Q&A following the presentations, which will also include the Leather Working Group, Tapestry and the Leather and Hide Council of America (LHCA).
